Wile E. is a joy to own and train. He is a happy, enthusiastic
dog who loves to retrieve most of all, but would be delighted to do anything, so long as it was with us. He
is very intelligent, confident, learns quickly, and tries hard. Wile E. is very loving and gets along
well with other dogs, people and children. Born on July 26, 2000, his health has been excellent and he is free from
known inherited problems such as hip and elbow dysplasia, cataracts, allergies and congenital heart disease.
Wile E.'s recent accomplishments include
completion of his WCX title and first two Master Hunter qualifications; both in March, 2003. He earned his 3rd MH qualification at the Rogue Valley Retriever Club test on May
12, 2003. Our 4th leg was achieved on July 27th at Sauvie Island, OR. We finished the AKC Master Hunter title
on September 28,2003 at the Sagehen's Hunt Test, Grizzly Island, California. Wile E. will continue to test his skills
at the Master level and will prepare to compete in Field Trials in 2004. At 9 1/2 years young, Wile E. continues to enjoy all training and is competing in Obedience events and Hunting
Tests in the coming year. Recently I was informed by the Golden Retriever
Club of America that Wile E. is one of only 50 Goldens possessing an advanced field title and a Conformation Certificate.
He will be among those recognized later in 2010 in the "Total Goldens" feature in the Golden Retriever News magazine.
